Return & Refund Policy

At Wine & Cheese, your satisfaction is paramount. We offer a simple and transparent return and refund process to ensure you shop with complete confidence.


1. Returns & Exchanges

  • We offer 7 days hassle-free returns & exchanges from the date of delivery.

  • A further 5–7 days may be required for the returned product(s) to reach our warehouse.

  • Returns are no questions asked if initiated within 7 days of delivery.

  • Pick-up will be attempted twice. If the courier company is unable to collect the shipment, you must self-ship the product back to our warehouse address.

  • Reverse pick-up is subject to service availability at your pin code.


2. Condition of Returned Products

  • Products must be returned in the same condition as shipped, unworn, unwashed, with original tags and packaging intact.

  • If products are returned in poor condition, clearly worn, or damaged due to customer handling, a refund will not be provided.

  • Customers are responsible for securely packing items during self-return to avoid loss/damage in transit.


3. Refunds

  • Prepaid Orders: Refunds are processed back to the original payment method.

  • Cash on Delivery Orders: Refunds are issued via store wallet/credits or to the bank account if details are provided.

  • Kindly allow up to 7 days for the refund to reflect in your bank account after approval.

  • In some cases, refunds may take up to 30 working days, depending on your bank/payment provider.

  • Reward points or store credits are non-refundable and can only be redeemed on our store.


4. Wrong / Incomplete Address Policy

  • Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout.

  • Orders not delivered due to wrong or incomplete addresses provided by the customer will not be eligible for refund.

  • If a refund is processed and the courier partner subsequently delivers the shipment, the customer must either:

    • Refuse delivery, OR

    • Return the product at their own cost, OR

    • Repay the refunded amount immediately.

Accepting delivery after a refund has been processed without repayment will be treated as unjust enrichment and may attract legal consequences under applicable laws.


5. Fraudulent Orders & Misuse of Refunds

  • Placing fake orders, providing false information, or misusing the return/refund process is considered fraud.

  • Such actions may be reported under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Indian Penal Code.

  • Wine & Cheese reserves the right to deny future orders, blacklist customers, and initiate recovery/legal proceedings if misuse is detected.


6. Damaged or Incorrect Products

  • If you believe a product does not meet quality standards at the time of delivery, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order with details and photos.

  • Our team will guide you through the next steps and arrange a resolution.


7. Self-Shipping of Returns

If your pin code is non-serviceable for reverse pick-up, please courier the product(s) to the following address:

  • Please mention your ORDER ID and registered mobile number clearly on the package.

  • Do not use The Professional Couriers for returns, as we cannot accept packages from them.

  • We recommend India Post – Speed Post for reliable self-shipping.


8. Cancellations

  • Cancellations are only possible before the order is dispatched from our warehouse.

  • Once dispatched, the standard return/refund process applies.


9. Terms & Conditions

  • Bank account details shared by customers for COD refunds will be treated as final. Any errors in details are the customer’s responsibility.

  • If you receive an SMS/email showing order delivered but haven’t received it, please contact us within 24 hours.

  • Customers are required to take reasonable care of products while in their possession.
